Senior Civil Engineer
With more than 50 years of professional engineering experience in the United States and South Africa, 30 years of which have been acquired while at McKinney and Company, Frank’s professional experience has focused on a wide variety of land development, infrastructure, commercial and industrial projects.
His civil engineering capabilities include site studies and evaluations; site design; road design; hydrologic and hydraulic studies for watersheds and stormwater quality and quantity management for detention/retention systems; design of erosion and sediment control systems; design of cantilever and gravity retaining wall systems; utility design for subdivisions; concrete bridge design, including structural and hydraulic analysis; structural design of concrete water storage tanks; and design of water supply schemes, including pump stations and supply mains. Involvement in these fields include the conduct of site evaluations, planning and preliminary design, quantity take-off and development of opinions of probable costs, final civil engineering design, project administration, management and primary client contact.
