The College of William and Mary – Andrews Hall
Williamsburg, Virginia

The Phi Beta Kappa (PBK) Memorial Hall and Andrews Hall (Art and Art History program) are connected. McKinney has performed extensive systems renovations through the Open End Contract with the College mostly related to PBK previous to the Andrews Hall renovation. The Andrews Hall renovation of a 33,000 SF 2-story academic building involved the replacement of the mechanical systems, electrical systems, the installation of a new fire suppression system, modifying the existing fire alarm system and the bringing into code compliance, the elevator. The project addressed ADA enhancements and enabled the College to apply for LEED certification. Asbestos and lead abatement performed by William and Mary. The improvements called for aesthetic enhancements in keeping with the nature of the building use for Art and Art History studios.
