Currently we are seeking candidates for the following positions:

Civil Engineer

Respondents should have a BS degree in Civil Engineering or Landscape Architecture.  State registration required with a minimum of five year’s work experience.  Responsibilities include design and site plan production for mainly commercial, industrial and retail development.    Project types include renovation, adaptive reuse and tenant upfit projects to highly complex new facilities.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Ability to prepare site layout, grading, utility, and erosion design drawings.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff and clients.
  • Ability to interpret and complete the design intent of more senior engineers and architects.
  • Ability to develop finished production drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
  • Ability to perform necessary calculations and assist in the preparation of production drawings and design notes.

Experienced Structural Engineer

We are seeking structural engineers with EIT registration or PE license and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in building design.  Respondents should have a BS degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures.  Responsibilities include foundation and framing design using steel, concrete and wood, review of contractors’ submittals, visits to construction sites, and report preparation.  Project types include adaptive reuse and tenant upfit projects, manufacturing plants, offices, laboratories, and distribution facilities.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from staff and clients.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD software to prepare plans, details, schedules and elevations. Working knowledge of Revit software, a plus.

Project Architect

We are seeking a Project Architect with 4-8 years of relevant experience with commercial, manufacturing, distribution, life science and laboratory projects, including renovation and tenant improvements.  Respondents should have a Bachelor of Architecture degree, and current architectural licensing.  Responsibilities include program development, regulatory coordination, leading the development of design and technical aspects of projects trough construction documents and construction.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Organizing, preparing, and presenting design and technical solutions in a client context.
  • Leading BIM efforts at a range of project scales including large complex projects.
  • Managing client expectations, team communication and consultant coordination.
  • Flexibility to focus on a single client with a variety of project types, or multiple, concurrent projects in various stages of development.
  • Developing and maintaining strong client relationships and participating in business development efforts.
  • Contribute to a positive and dynamic office culture, initiatives, and learning programs.

Additional qualifications include:

  • Ability to foster innovation in design, construction technology and sustainable design.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, project planning, writing and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in the use of various design and presentation software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Photoshop.
  • A fundamental understanding of building codes and various construction types resulting in well thought out details.
  • Collaboration skills and ability to work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and jurisdictions.
