McKinney and Company provided full service planning and design for the construction of a 174,000 SF addition to the existing distribution facility for Elizabeth Arden. The Elizabeth Arden Logistics Centre is located in the Roanoke Centre for Industry and Technology. The original building designed by McKinney and Company, completed under a compressed schedule, has a pre-engineered frame and roof system, and more than 30,000 SF of office space and a 28-ft clear height, fully climate controlled interior warehouse space with 25 dock positions. The expansion provided 36 feet clear height, narrow aisle, wire-guided storage. It had a pre-engineered structure and combination of precast concrete and insulated metal wall panels.

Lingerfelt Property Trust in Richmond was the developer for the project and, J.M. Turner Construction out of Roanoke was the General Contractor. The project value was more than $5M.
