Avia Apartment Homes is a 320 unit multi-family luxury apartment complex located in the Broad Hill Centre development west of Short Pump. McKinney and Company provided Civil Engineering design services for the project, consisting of 15 buildings on a 20 acre parcel. McKinney initially worked with the Client and the Architect to develop a conceptual site design and then prepared the Plan of Development documents for construction. McKinney was the point of contact with Henrico County during the POD review process.

The project required a detailed grading plan, associated stormwater and utility design, as well as erosion and sediment control design.
